The Mets, desperate, dropping like a rock in the standings, and unable to compete with the superior Phillies, signed Abraham Nunez to a contract. Yes, I said Abraham Nunez. The guy that had 4 hits in 3 years with the Phillies. The guy that looked like he should have been playing with the Atlantic City Surf. Is this Omar Minaya's way of upgrading a team? You have to be kidding me.
