Peter Gammons usually recognizes the facts when he discusses baseball. Although he used to give Jose Reyes more credit than he deserved, Gammons got it right blasting Reyes' play and calling him the fourth best short stop in the NL East.
It was ridiculous listening to people mention Reyes in the same sentence as Jimmy Rollins a few years back. Now the facts have been made clear. Rollins is the MVP. Reyes is at the bottom of shortstops in his own division. Sorry Jose, the bloom is off the rose!
